"Due to high demand,..."

Due to high demand, advanced payment is needed.

In regards to this sentence, could I say 'the seminar is in high demand'? It sounds quite awkward to me but I don't know how to say it the right way. I want to say that the seminar is very competitive.

very competitive doesn't mean in high demand , even though they correlate Due to high demand, advance d payment is needed. advance I'd say: Due to high demand, an advance payment is required/necessary/needed.

If at the bottom of a brochure advertising a seminar read 'Due to high demand, an advance payment is needed', how would you describe the seminar? Is it natural to say 'the seminar is in high demand'?
