"children between the age/aged between" "The target audience of ...."

I wonder which of these phrases are correct or more natural?

A children between the age of 7-12

The target audience of this advertisement is people who appreciate nature. Are these correct? Do they sound natural to you?

The target audience of this advertisement is people who are in their sixties and beyond.

Do you read them as, for example, "between the ages of seven to eleven" or "between the ages of seven and eleven"? Any difference?

Hello Yoong Liat:),

Does that mean that it is possible? That sentence, without "age", sounds good to me..

Thanks for answering my question!

Yes, it's fine. "Between ... and ...".

I think if the context does not cause ambiguity, it's possible. An ambiguous context could be, for example, in a contest where each participant has a number on them.
