To me, the one to decide which one is better is you, rather than someone out here or there somewhere. You know what context you want to use certain words, and you should know which puntuation marks will create desired effects. To place 'internal' and 'external' after a comma might give an impression that it meant to add or complement what is in the main clause; but if you place them a

Hello there,

When will the modifier (or adjective, sorry i don't know the term), i.e. the "20" apply to both subjects and when will it not?

Consider the following sentence,

Does the "good" apply to all 3 skills or do I have to state explicitly and inelegantly,

I have good listening, good typing and good

Do you mean, there are 20 internal and 20 external projects since the "20" applies to both?
Only 20 projects (internal and external).
There are 20 internal and 20 external projects. (This means that there are 40 projects.)

What if I want to say I have good listening skills ONLY and I don't want any modifier for typing and writing skills.
I would write as follows:

Nicely written. Thanks Yoong Liat.
