I am trying to describe development of some indicator, by comparing it with planned figure and last year's figure. I would like to use the word "both" but I don't know which one f these sentenses sounds better.
The APNB (it is the sales indicator) is both below planned and last year's figures. or
The APNB (it is the sales indicator) is below both planned and last year's figures.
