Could you tell me which one is right in the following sentences, according as your writing conventions? I'd also like to know which English you speak among BrE, Ame and so on.

1-A. How do you spell 'apple?'
1-B. How do you spell 'apple'?

2-A. How do you spell "apple?"

I'm just a norwegian dude, but I'd definetely write *[ How do you spell "apple"? ]* and *[ Press N to indicate "No" and Y to indicate "Yes". ]* if I were to write these as gramatically right as possible, in english and also in norwegian too lol
