1. Have you taken any medicines?
2. Do you have any questions?
3. You don't need to buy any ticket.
4. If you have any confusion, don't hasitate to contact me.
How do we know after the word "any" we add "s" or we don't add "s"? Give me some explanations , please. And check the mistake for me, please.

I think if a noun used is countable then we are to use the plural form - with -s. But if it's not countable then a noun can be used in the single form.
