"after having" or "after -ing"?

(1)"After having spent two weeks in Thailand, he is making a proposal for a joint venture to management in NY."

(2)"After spending two weeks..., he is making..."

There is even a third option: "Having spent two weeks in Thailand, he is making a proposal for a joint venture to management in NY."
