"A smile" - About a child's unique perspective

I wanted to make you all smile, we need more smiles

My son Paul was about 3 1/2 when his brother was born.
I was nursing the baby, and not thinking of how
it would look in the eyes of the 3 1/2 year old
sitting on the couch.

He came over and said "What are doing?"
I said "Feeding the baby"

I watched his little face look puzzled for a few seconds,
then he smiled, kissed the babies head and walked
away to play with his new dump truck.

I thought it strange that he seemed to
require no explaination and asked no more questions.

but

a few minutes later he came back over and asked

"Mom?

is he going to eat the whole thing?"

Explaination required!!!

So innocent, and if you think about it, a perfectly valid
question if you are 3 1/2.
