00 But "A good explanation will be appreciated" sounds like you will only appreciate good explanations, and you are really looking for "a good explanation", as if the answers you usually get were not very good. Like, "Don't lose your time posting a simple opinion as usual, I want a good explanation".02br

I wonder why we should use 'would' instead of 'will' here. Secondly, will there be any difference¹ if I say 'if someone were so kind to provide one' instead of 'if someone were so kind as to provide one'? Thirdly, you used 'were' here because it is unlikely to happen. Am I right?

1. Should I use differences here?
