Hi all

a sentence from internet news website:

"...these days Harry spends most of his time in the unforgiving company of Sandhurst drrll instructors, so he was no doubt delighted to be reunited with Chelsy........."

I really can't get it what does "unforgiving company of sandhurst drill instructors" mean in this sentence?

It means that the Sandhurst (Army officer training school) drill instructors (instructors of young officers in the basics) are a tough bunch and put the trainee officers through a very hard time!
