"... of the English L/language" Sounds formal?

Hi all,

It's a very common mistake among learners of the English Language. Does it sound formal to you?

Secondly, does the word ‘language’ in ‘the English Language’ start with a capital letter?

Best wishes,

Ah, I see. Thank you for helping me, Clive.

I believe it would be less formal to say 'It's a very common mistake among learners of English'.

Thank you again.

Best wishes,

Clived, I've noticed you capitalize the 'Hi' in the word 'hi' in the beginning of your posts(or at the beginning?)
Is it vital? From what I know, capitalizing one word that does not start in a beginning of a sentence(or at? the instead of a?) is wrong.
For example:

Hi Clive.
hi.
How are you doing?
fine.

I will appricate a sincere a

Yes, even if it is one word, you should still capitalise it.
