Quietly pacifist peaceful

Hi~~

The quietly pacifist peaceful always die to make room for men who shout. --- Alice Walker (1944- )

Doesn't this one have to be "The quiet peaceful pacifist always die to make ------"?

Why "quietly"?

And why "pacifist peaceful" not "peaceful pacifist"?

Is this one to be considered some oratory, emphatic sentence?

Thanks a lot, Clive...

I understand now... The word "pacifist" was used as an adjective, not as a noun.

I looked into a dictionary to find out that "pacifist" works as an adjective too.
