Is it ok to say:
I learnt the German language quickly/in a short span of time/within a short span of time (I am describing my stay in Germany)
Is there a more formal word to say : quickly? I have thought of 'promplty' but it doesn't match in this context I think.

I don't see anything wrong with "quickly", but how about "readily"?
