"I bought" is simple past. It could have been recently or a long time ago.
"I've bought" is present perfect, typically used to describe something which happened in the very recent past.

Thanks, CalifJim and Avangi! In that case, I really meant it the way CJ had expressed it. The trip is finished and the two persons are telling each other about their holidays. So am I right in assuming that everything that is finished goes with simple past, even if there's no indication of time?
