quick question

what does it mean when someone asks 'Do you have your own transport?' does it mean do you drive?

Top answer

It is asking whether you have some way of getting yourself around - car, motor cycle, cycle, etc. You may not me able to drive, but you have your own transport if you have a chauffeur-driven car.
