Quick Question

Hello,

A certain activity is occurring now in my country but unfortunately I can’t join them as I’m out abroad.

Would you please help me to say the following to my friend in my country (Honestly I feel that it doesn’t sound English?

(If I was in my country I would surely joined you)

Thanks Emotion: smile

Hi Speedoz, I would say : "if I was in my country I would surely join you" Or can it be "I would take part of" ? Let´s wait for native speakers :-) BYE PAMELA

If I were in my country (now) , I would surely join you. ("was" is also heard in casual speech)

Try: I want so much to join you but I can't as I am abroad...
