There's a common quote says:
"Don't depend too much on anyone in this world because even your own shadow leaves you when you are in darkness."
Now, can i comment saying:
For me, my shadow is leaving me even in light

I do know a Chinese poem that says exactly the same meaning as that quote says.
But I doubt if people would understand you if you said that transformed version.
