Quick Question

The relative pronoun and the verb to be can be omitted to create an appositive phrase, in some case.

Is this omittion still possible when the antecedent of the pronoun isn't a noun or noun phrase but an entire predicate or sentence? For instance:

I was punched below the belt, which is unallowed in boxing.

I was punched below the belt, unallowed in boxing.

Thank you
