quick proofread on an essay?
I had to write an application essay on "In 75-90 words, please describe the most rewarding and challenging aspect of being a leader in your community"
Here is the essay. Any suggestions would be great. Its a big longer then it should, so if you could help me consolidate sentences/remove things that are probably unimportant, I would really appreciate it!
"To be a leader you have to be able to step away from the crowd and be the one to stand out. Personally, the most challenging aspect of being a leader is the plain fact that you are trying to make a difference. Too many people are afraid of stepping up in fear they won’t be able to get people to follow along so they chose to be a follower instead. The most rewarding, I would say is being able to see someone learned something from you and is now better because of it. Nothing is more rewarding than watching someone succeed because of your help."

You only described "being a leader" in very general prosaic terms, as if someone else is a leader, and you are just observing them. So I don't know if you really answered the question.
