Quick help needed!

Someone offered me a ride somewhere. But I don't want to go there with them I want to go there alone and meet up with them there. how can I say this politely? here is what I have so far:

thanks for the offer, I will come there .... ( on my own/ by myself/ or something else?)

thanks for the help in advance

If you have a car or bike, you might say: "Thanks, but I'd rather go there on my own, because I might have to leave early."
