I don't understand the meaning of "queue it up".Is "queue it up"="queue-it-up"?examples from web:1). In fact, how about I actually queue it up against a queue and I make the ... Have it queue it up in a separate database, and then have some procedures that run these maintenance routines based on what that database has queued up.3). I don't understand this technology. However, it seems to me that 'queue it up' just means to add it to a set of things that will be processed in the order that they have been added to the set. It's rather similar to people queuing up for a bus. Each person gets on the bus in the sequence that they joined the queue.

You don't need the hyphens in 1/2/4 because queue is used as a verb. In 3, you could use hyphens becuase the phrase is used as an adjective, but you don't really need them since there are quotes around the phrase.

queue it up = put it in a queue = put it in an ordered list (at the end of the list) where it will be treated the same as all the other items on the list when its turn comes up (after all the items before it have been handled).
