Queue

Hi,

I have a somewhat vague question to ask, and I apologize for that. I'm working in a healthcare consultancy business, and I'm still learning the basics. The point is that we are working on a software with new features for the medical staff. My question is about the following sentence: "A new feature allows you to auto-assign a task to a specific user when building a queue". So my question is: what's the meaning of queue in that sentence?
