Questions with auxiliaries.

Is it a bad idea to start a question with an auxiliary verb in negative? If so, how would you make the following sentences sound natural?

For instance:

1Wasn't she at the party?

2 was I stupid ?

3 weren't they smart?

4 were we not polite?

5 couldn't they come?

6 shouldn't we leave?

7 mustn't they call us?

And so on?
