Hi

If you're making questions out of normal sentences, you simply have to look at the verbs that are in it. It's not difficult to find out.
  • I am tall. --> Am I tall?

    (if the verb 'to be' (am,are,was,were) is the only verb form in the sentence, use 'be'.
  • I smell something. -
