Questions I've translated from french, not sure how to say them
Could you please help me with these, I don't know how to say it.
1 How long a shower /of a shower do you take?
2 Everytime we talk about about money there is a glint in his eyes./his eyes glint. (can you say this, or how would you say it)
3 Don't leave the paper with ink all over it on the table, it'll wash off/run on the table.
4 They'll be/get here any minute now.
5 She knows him so well as to be able to write a message in his place and people would think it was him.
6 I'll make it my life's mission to make sure
7 That's the noise of your nails (banging) against/on the chalkboard.
8 German shepards might live to the old age of 17 but at what cost/price.
9 Dogs adapt/adjust to the outside temperature.
10 He acted as if/though he didn't know that I was here asking him for money.
I don't have to wait on/for him in order to eat. I've got my own money.
