Questions about words like eyeglasses or pants

Even though words like eyeglasses are a single object we still use the word ''are'' for it.

''These are my eyeglasses.''

But what if it is used with words like ''one type of''

''There are only one type of eyeglasses in this store for sale'', or

'' There is only one type of eyeglasses in this store for sale''.

Which is the correct form?

This is excessively formal. It's much more common just to say or write glasses.

No. At least not when "One type of ..." is the subject you're making the agreement with.

Of course, if there's another subject, by coincidence you might have "are" in the same sentence with "one type of ...", but that's not a matter of subject-verb agreement.
