Questions about such as and get O do

Also, companies are encouraged to manufacture products with easily replaceable parts so that customers can get their broken electronic devices repaired and extend their life cycles.

Tasha Tudor was an American author and illustrator of children’ books. She illustrated such books as Mother Goose, The Secret Garden, The Little Princess, and Little Women.

I have seen those sentences in a book and I have learned that get objects -ed and to do are correct patterns like 'get it done' and 'get the car to start' and then, in the sentence 'to extend' is a correct pattern, isn't it?

And is there a meaning difference between such books as Mother Goose... and books such as Mother Goose...?

What do you native English speakers think?

Thank you so much as usual in advance.

  • "get their broken electronic devices to extend their life cycles" is grammatical, but feels a bit odd, as if the electronic devices have some kind of will.

Opps! I made a mistake, and 'repaired' should be bold.

And I have a question, if extend is a separate verb, the verb get does not affect the verb extend?

And then which verb affects the verb extend? Or which one is a subject of ex

Right, it does not. The verb phrases are "can get" and "can extend."
