Questions about pregnancy

Hi, teachers.

I am looking for some expressions for "Our baby is coming soon."

A friend of mine wanted to say something about what happened when she was almost about 9months pregnant.(This is Korean way of counting)

I suggested (1)we were expecting a baby soon and (2) I was 9 months pregnant, but (1) doesn't sound right.

I know 'expect a baby' means 'be pregnant.'

How about.... We had (or were having?) a baby on the way soon. or we were going to have a baby soon?'

I guess 'in my third trimester' is ok, but she wanted to emphasize almost 9months.

Is there any expression for that?

Thank you in advance.

If you are very close to giving birth then you could say: I'm due in a couple of weeks. It's due in a few weeks. I will give birth on Friday (or whatever day/,date you choose).

I will give birth on Tuesday. = more formal.

There are some slang expressions, but I won't bother giving them here.

I don't know in English, but people also use "months" in speaking in my language if it was necessary to state a month and I think it's clear.

E.g. "When she was nine months pregnant, she climbed a mountain." It's just a random example.

In English, I guess they use "weeks" a lot if it was necessary to specify.

The more general terms that come to my mind are:

"When she
