Questions about ~ing, ~ed and go hurrying.

Hi guys!
I'd like to ask questions about elements that are not existent in my mother tongue.

1. This is a Bible verse, it says
"Therefore, just as you have accepted Christ Jesus the Lord, go on walking in union with him, being rooted and built up in him and being stabilized in the faith."

Here it starts with an order, "go on walking" and then continues with "being rooted" and "being stabilized.." what is the name of the element such as this and what does this latter part - parts starting with being - exactly mean?
Is it still an order following "go on walking" or just completely different thing?

2. Went away grieved or came out safe.
How are these parts-grieved and safe- called?
What is the name? I can still use them without knowing the name
but it makes me feel.... itchy. haha

3. Go hurrying.
Many native English speakers use this style a lot, especially in writing.
what does it exactly mean? I can't even use it, because I don't know if
going and hurrying happen at the same time or whatever.
I don't get the sense of it at all!

Thank you!

thank you very much, meteorquake. but I am still very unsure of what it really means.
okay, let me confine the question to the case as shown in that Bible verse,
Is being rooted the result of going on in union with him or is it another command like, go on being rooted~~~ ?

It's an observation of something that is true at the same time as the verb (walking) - it doesn't define why - this helps to emphasise the matter of the observation.

However, saying "being X" can be a way of putting an idea into people's minds and so can be seen as a form of education, or a desire/command that is expressed gently not as a command but as a statement as if it is naturally h
