Questions about each question tense and grammar

Could you help me with the questions I have for each sentence please?

Is "for no reason" used like that?
1 She yelled at me for no reason.

Is this correct spoken English?
2 Think of this match as your playoff ticket, you win you make it to the playoffs you lose your don't make it.

Can you use "genre" here? How would you write this sentence?
3 That's not the genre of music she usually sings.

Is "proportionally" the correct word and is the future perfect the tense to use?
4 If the team has scored 5 points in 10 minutes, proportionally they'll have scored 6 points in 12 minutes.

Is "progressed" the right tense?


5 Their shooting percentage has been dropping as the game has progressed.

Is this formulated correctly?

6 What difference is one day going to make?

To me this is correct, is it to you?

7 I can't dance to a clip which I can barely hear the music.

Is this idiomatic?


8 My work is worth the $2000 people pay for it.
