Questions?

Women have lived longer than men who are paid more throughout their lives and are structurally advantaged in any number of ways.

1. Is a comma necessary after the word “men” ? I believe it is, but therr’s no comma in the original.

2. There is a phrase “structurally advantaged.” Does the author mean “physically advantaged” or “socially advantaged?” Or can it mean both?
