Questions

I talk with my friend who's a divorced father and have to children. He tells me that he hasn't seen his children in a while. We talk again two weeks later, and to follow up on our conversation I ask him:

"Have you seen your kids?"

Is this grammatically correct and natural to ask?

And how about: "Have you been seeing your kids?"

Is that correct as well? How is it compared to the other?
