Do you say "Thanks for meeting Alex and me today." Or Thanks for meeting me and Alex today? or Neither

Hi, I'd use the first one. But I would rather choose the first one, cause an old rule says that when you're doing a enumeration, you first mention the other people and then you at the end. Greetings

Hi,

I'd use the first one. But I'm not a native speaker, so I can't promise that there're no better ways to say this, wait for other replies. But I would rather choose the first one, cause an old rule says that when you're doing a enumeration, you first mention the other people and then you at the end.

I say, Thanks for meeting Alex and me today.

As a matter of politeness, put the other person first.
