Question with prounciation

I need to rectify my English npronounciation

help me to understand how to pronounce English words like 'Northern,'and 'forlorn' correctly.

Can I skip the r sound and stay with rest of them?

the r sound followed by 'l' or another 'r' sound is difficult for me to pronounce.
