Question Tag

LET'S HELP HER needs the question tag SHALL WE? We use this tag because LET'S indicates a suggestion. Then what about LET US HELP HER? Is this a suggestion or a request? I think it is a request and we should use WILL YOU? instead of SHALL WE? I would like a clarification from Englishmen.

Hi,
O.ABOOTTY Let's help her vs. Let us help her
Both of your sentences mean the same. Let's is used as a contraction of Let us and, generally speaking, is

considered less formal. Likewise, each of them indicates a suggestion in your sentences.

Let's help her, shall we? Yes, let's.

Let us help her, shall we? No, let's not
