Question Regarding Teaching Complement

Hello Teachers

I do know that complement can be a noun, adjective or prepositional phrase and we mostly use it while making state sentences. But, apart from this, if try to teach the same thing in a different way like listing some points. Have a look at them:

1. Ocupation

2. Existence

3. Condition

4. Possession

5. Relation

I am going to write some examples kindly check them out:

1. I am a doctor.

( In this example I am telling you about my occupation and 'doctor' is also a noun)

2. I am at home.

( In this example I am telling you about my existence and 'home' is also a noun)

3. I am sick.

( In this example I am telling you about my condition and 'sick' is also a noun)

4. This is my car.

( In this example I am telling you about my possession and 'car' is also a noun)

5. He is my brother.

( In this example I am telling you about my relation and 'brother' is also a noun)

6. She is beautiful.

(In this example I am telling you about my quality and 'beautiful' is also an adjective)

So can I include these 5 points while teaching complement so that students can easily recognize state sentences?
