In the digital era, technology has become an integral part in human’s life for a number of its numerous benefits. However, aside from all advantages of this advancement, living in the world becomes more reliant on computers and mobile devices has distracted us from what is really worth in life. I completely agree with this statements.

Technology expands our horizons until it starts interfering with our lives. One contributor to leading to a weaker family bond is over-reliance on technology. Indeed, everyone use electronic devices everywhere, even when they have a meal with family members so that there are no interactions among members in family. As a result, in long-term, people will become more unsociable and they will be stucked in technology. Furthermore, depending on technology can result in some diseases related to mental, physical and eyes. Children are always on the computer and lacking of movement as well as taking part in outdoor activities, for this reason, it leads to a sedentary lifestyle and contribute to childhood obesity rates.

Tremendous growth of technology also has negative impacts on children’s thinking and social skills. Technology is making people lazy due to its convenience, agree with it helps people find information faster and easier, in contrast, people have become over-reliant on the Internet, especially students. For example, students usually have presentations and project at schools; however, in process of preparing, they have tendency to look for information on the Internet, copy them and turn into their products. Then they would present their results to class with electronic devices in hand without contact with audiences, from which makes presentation become tedious. This action would influence on their ingenuity and apparent ignorance about problems.

In conclusion, breakthrough in technology supply an enormous quantities of information and help our life become easier; however, besides advantages this advancement also have some drawbacks and has distracted people from what is really valuable in life.
