An "internship" is a position, so to me the sentence is better off without it. I just did a quick Google web search actually, and -- if you believe that the numbers it throws up have any meaning -- there were 321,000 for "an internship at" (with quotes) and 1,470 for "an internship position at".

"at" seems fine to me here.
