Question order

hi could anyone help me? which one is the correct way to say this?

1. let's find out what's in the room

2. let's find out what in the room is

Since i learnt that if there's embedded question the second must be subject+verb order or wh-question+verb.
so I'd think that number 2 is the correct one but what native english speaker would say it (correct way)

Thanks
