For the script for a play, what is the difference between an "Act" (eg, Act 1, Act 2, etc.) and a "Scene" (eg, Scene 1, Scene2, etc.)? It seems Scenes come under Acts in a script.
Also, I think when you are writing instructions in a script, they are usually written in the present tense like "The ring falls," and they are writtien in a separate line in parentheses(I think); but there seem to some writing also in parentheses that are usually written at the beginnig of a sentence that tells about something in a smaller scale, what is that called?
(Angrily) Hey, there!
(Talking in a very small voice) Who are you?
