Question on the adverb 'rather'

Hi teachers,
According to the sentences, Could 'relatively' be a suitable synonym for 'rather'?

A: Good morning, Robert. It’s rather late, but at least drink your coffee.
B:I can’t drink my coffee Mrs. Anderson because it’s not rather late, it’s too late for me. I must go to the bookstore immediately, good-bye Mrs. Anderson.

Thank you for your reply. I prefer to keep 'relatively'. It is for beginners, and that one is closer in meaning to the Spanish adverb.
