Question on "As"
Dear Teachers,
Is the following sentence correct?
"You can only choose two people as recommenders."
Or should I use "as recommender" instead?

Hi,
'Recommenders' sounds a bit odd. I wonder if you mean what are commonly called 'references'?
eg 'Job references' is the common term for people who will tell a prospective employer that you do good work.
