Question on Multiple Choice Modal verbs

Hi teachers,

I have these instructions and exercise

Instructions: you want someone to close the door for you.

__________ close the door for me?

Circle the letter of the correct option.

A. Do you like to

B. Would you like to

C. Would you like

D. Could you like to

I think none of them are correct. Shouldn't it be, 'could you' or 'will you'?

Thanks in advance

Hi Mister Micawber,

Thank you for you reply.

So there are 3 possibilities:

A. Would you like to close the door for me? (formal)

B. Could you close the door for me? (formal)

C. Will you close the door for me? (informal)

And 'would you?' and 'can you?'

(I don't think that your A is particulary formal.)

Hi Mister Micawber,

Thank you for your reply.

Ok. So as you've said is reasonably common and not formal.

Best,

TS
