Question on "mine" please help!

Hello. I'm trying to figure out if this is the correct form to write a sentence.

"The company is a part of mine and the Board's valuable time"

Is it correct to use "mine" because of double possesion or should I use "my"?

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Something is either missing from this sentence, or oddly constucted.

As stands, the sentence doesn't seem to work for me with either "my" or "mine". What does "mine" pertain to in your sentence? That's should be the important question to ask. Mine -can only be used when a specific noun ( or subject) has been established in prior context. i.e. A - My wife is a teacher. B - Really! so is mine.

That's my opinion.

This is always a very troublesome construction in English, and I always phrase it differently if possible. mine is definitely wrong. my is not much better.

I would probably try something like these.

... the Board's valuable time and mine.
... my valuable time and the Board's.

I've seen arguments for the Board's and my valuable time as the definitively correct version. I avoid that myself, but you could certainly use that wording if you wish.
