Question on double possessive

Hi. Please help me with these.

1. It is his/my voice in the recording.

For the above sentence, would the say the sentence (sentences) is (are) correct?

It is the voice of him/mine in the recording.

2. It is John Doe's voice in the recording.

For the above sentence, which is correct? If the latter sentence is incorrect, could you tell me the reason?

It is the voice of John Doe in the recording.

Or

It is the voice of John Doe's in the recording.
