Question on correct usage.

I've seen the sentence "My arm is still tender where I bruised it" in a dictionary.

Well I understand what it means but I think the last word "it" (referring to my arm) should be taken off to be grammatically correct because "where" already covers "it".
My arm is still tender where I bruised.

Am I right?
