question in syntax

I. Explain the difference in form and meaning between the members of each of the following sentence pairs.

1a) Many people prefer democracy.
1b) Many peoples prefer democracy

3a) He got an angry answer.
3b) He got very angry.


4a) Fighting hooligans is dangerous.

4b) Fighting hooligans are dangerous.


i know the meaning of each sentence i just need the differences of form

like subject verb noun etc...

he got an angry answer

he (is head noun function as subject)
got (is verb phrase)
an angry answer (noun phrase) determiner THE and head noun answer
i am not sure of angry
i hope that i make it clear

he got an angry answer

he (is head noun function as subject)OK
got (is verb phrase) OK, but I'd just say 'verb'. To me, a phrase has more than one word.
