Hi Everyone,
I'm wondering if there is a name for question words such as:
Who
What
Where
Why
How
When ....
Are these words simply called 'question words' or is there another technical name for them?

You can call them interrogative adverbs/determiners/pronouns, You can find out which word class each is in by looking them up in a dictionary at www.onelook.com.
