Hi teachers,



This is a fragment of 'The adventures of Tom Sawyer'.



Joe came up to Tom and looked at the fence.

“I’m sorry, Tom”

Tom said nothing. The paint brush moved up and down.



Is this question right according to the text above?



Did Tom say anything when Joe said, “I’m sorry, Tom?”

No, he didn’t.
