Question about wording

Hello!

I have question about proper wording in English.
Is the following sentence (especially underlined part) okay?

On October 11, 2014 I went to Phoenix but, as it turned out, Julie had never been at 2 Waterborou Street, Phoenix. Residents of the building at 2 Waterborou Street were not acquainted with such person and did not recognize neither Salnaja, nor my child when I showed them their photos.

or should the underlined part be: did not know
?

Thank you!
